The new VarioTHERM mid wave infrared InSb camera from Jenoptik provides the high thermal sensitivity and spatial resolution in a fully calibrated radiometric system suitable for the most demanding thermal imaging applications. Equipped with the latest generation Stirling cooled 640 x 512 format Indium Antimonide detector array, the VarioTHERM provides razor sharp infrared images. With a typical thermal sensitivity of better than 15mK, even the most subtle temperature differences can be easily resolved.
With a bandwidth from 2 to 5 microns, the VarioTHERM InSb camera covers a wide spectral range, making the camera ideal for a broad array of scientific, research and analytical applications. An integrated four position filter wheel allows the use of multiple spectral filters enabling the VarioTHERM to be used for bandpass specific applications, including temperature measurement of glass and plastics, and imaging of or through flames.
The VarioTHERM is fully calibrated for temperature measurement. With a total measurement range from -40° C to +1200C (2000° C optional), the VarioTHERM provides accurate measurement data over an extremely wide dynamic range. Calibration data is stored in the camera, allowing the user to easily use the cameras with multiple computers, or to view temperature data via the analog video output.
Thermal image data is output in 16 bit digital format over the included Firewire interface. A Gigabit Ethernet output is available as an option. RS232, NTSC or PAL video and VGA interfaces are provided. The VarioTHERM operates at 60Hz (50Hz PAL).
